Early Purple Vienna Kohlrabi is an interesting member of the cabbage family. A cool weather plant, that is easy to grow. Spring plantings should be harvested when radish-sized, because warm weather makes the bulb woody, and hot-tasting. Frost hardy kohlrabi does well in the Fall, too.
