Purple Top White Globe Turnip is an outstanding all-purpose variety. The round turnip can reach 5" in diameter. Harvest when the white root with purple top reaches 4-5". Young leaves can be cooked as greens, stir fried, or used in soup. Root is excellent for pickling and cooking or eaten raw.
