BioVantage is a unique synthesis of eight strains of Rhizobacteria combined with a powerful carbon-based food supply. By pairing proven microbial inoculants with nutrient-rich carriers like fish and kelp meal, BioVantage reinvigorates tired soils, boosts microbial activity, and strengthens the plant’s root system for long-term turf performance.

BioVantage Solution

  • Introduces a stable, diverse package of Rhizobacteria to energize soil biology
  • Feeds microbes with carbon, fish, and kelp meal to keep populations active and resilient
  • Breaks down thatch to improve oxygen, water, and nutrient flow
  • Strengthens root systems for deeper, stronger, more resilient turf
Application Rates

Turf: 5 oz/1000 sq ft of turf every two weeks

Landscape: 1% solution for maintenance up to 5% for recovery

Why Biology Matters

Soil biology drives plant health. Beneficial Rhizobacteria support turf by:

  • Protecting roots from soil-borne pathogens
  • Producing metabolites that regulate plant and microbial processes
  • Mobilizing nutrients through microbial breakdown and nitrification
  • Supporting deep, dense root growth for stronger, stress-tolerant turf

Without an active microbial community, soils weaken—nutrients remain unavailable, roots struggle to grow, and plants become more vulnerable to stress and disease.

The Soil Challenge

  • Overused soils: Biological activity declines, leading to compaction and salt buildup.
  • Sand-based or low CEC soils: Lack the natural biology needed for strong root development.
  • Thatch-heavy turf: Blocks oxygen, moisture, and nutrients from reaching the roots.

"A home valued at $150,000 with lawn only could be worth $8,250 to $19,050 more with a landscape of color and large plants. The multi-state study found minimal landscapes (simple design with small plants) detracted from the value.  Research data showed home price premiums increased 6 to 7 percent for home landscapes upgraded from good to excellent and 4 to 5 percent for an upgrade from average to good. Combined, a landscape upgrade from average to excellent increases home value by 10 to 12 percent."  Turf Magazine, 2016
